@evolassunglasses4673 what nonsense... there is no such thing as a Palestinian homeland. Numerous cultures, tribes and religions have lived in that area over the years including Jews. Palestine was a place but Palestinians (Arabs/Muslims) is a relatively new term. Most living in Gaza come from elsewhere.

@ladameauxcamelias5054 history actually, look it up. Palestine is a place but the term Palestinians is a recent (last 100 years) term. Arafat in 70s' started using it to justify his own terrorist organisation. Even if you are uneducated/indoctrinated and disagree on the historical facts, quite how my speech was in anyway Nazi I fail to see.

The Muslims living in Gaza voted for Hamas. Those that didn't voted for Fatah... formerly the PLO another terrorist group. In fact in modern times it was pretty much Arafat who started using the term Palestinians to refer to the Arab/Muslim population... they aren't really a distinct ethnic group but migrant Arabs from all over. The common thread is they hate Israel. Anyone supporting them is doing the same.

@konstantinosdragasespalaio4178 as I said a recent thing. You're talking about 1948 there. But you'll hardly find a reference to "Palestinians" as a people before about 100 years ago. That doesn't say some of those people have older ancestry but the term is a recent political thing. Also you may find more favour without immediately descending into vitriol... that is usually indicative of someone not in charge of the facts

@konstantinosdragasespalaio4178 I never said Palestine wasn't a place. I said that the concept of Palestinians as a people is a new term. There is no such ethnic group. Perhaps read my original comment again. Your reaction though proves that the political objective of giving them an historical identity, albeit false, has worked. Most people have fallen for it.

@konstantinosdragasespalaio4178 read my original comment and your list reply above, you are pretty much agreeing with me that there isn't a Palestinian ethnicity. They are migrant Arabs and others, many fairly recent refugees. Now whether they have a right or not to be there is another issue, which I didn't mention at all. And I never mentioned a nation either.

@konstantinosdragasespalaio4178 it's hard to argue with someone who keeps changing the narrative. How did Saudi come into it? You said their ethnicity was Arab and Islamic, how on earth is Islam a genetic marker. Everyone with roots in that area (Jew and Arab) have a large part of their DNA from the Canaanites, none of that gives the term Palestinians any credence. Sorry but think we've gone as far as we can on this. EDIT: To answer your question. I studied the area but from a historical perspective. I think it's far to say your opinions are more emotive, as are those covered by your statement "known by common people in that region".
