@nuancematters it's a pisser when posts get deleted... happens all the time and often with no obvious reason even assuming a woke AI in charge! Hey I'm with you on the feeling and concept of British I really am, just stating what you are i.e. British is now related to passport as much as we may hate it. That being said I've always considered myself English rather than British.

@nuancematters British certainly isn't an ethnicity, nor is English, Welsh etc... ethnicity would be White, Black, Asian etc. Nationality too is based on either place of birth or parents... people appear to be able to choose. However, what Sunak isn't is "indigenous" British. The British idea is I think why lots of us identity as English, Scottish before British. FWIW
