  2. This bloke probably from a rough and supposedly uneducated background speaks more sense than anyone in government. The problem is a jailing people for what would should be civil offences including protesting, social media posts, non-payment of TV licence, parking etc. Even financial crimes are better dealt with via real community service and house arrest/tagging. Immigration is an issue too, 25% black and Asian prison population versus 13% actual population.
