  1. This obsession with economic growth is actually part of the world's problems. We need to focus on security, equality of wealth distribution, supporting local markets, smaller state interference in the minutia of life and family. This focus on GDP and bigger & bigger corporations is fundamentally flawed.

  2.  @fredmercury1314  no offence taken. Although I am exactly the opposite of an authoritarian.. more a Libertarian in nature 1. Reducing state interference in day to day matters such as disciplining kids at home, such as lockdown, shutting down free speech platforms, dropping Net Zero, health and safety nonsense that stops things like small village events without insurance etc. 2. I'm a capitalist at heart but there needs to be reins on such things as the derivatives market which is basically betting on nothing - non of it is real. 3. There needs to be higher tariffs on certain incoming goods in key industries to foster growth at home. 4. There needs to be controls on mergers purely for the benefit of shareholders at the expense of customers and staff. The original concept of shares and dividends has been completely lost. 5. Reducing red tape and taxation for companies under a certain turnover would encourage the spread of wealth. 6. Closing the offshore and foreign company taxation loopholes too. 7. Allow people to protect their property without ridiculous human rights lawyers defending criminals. 8. Deport foreign criminals, close the borders to non earning dependants on student visas, turn back the boats, stop paying France. Stop everything being printed in multiple languages from road signs to school books to NHS leaflets. This is Britain, learn English.
