Whilst any attempt to cover up or downplay this tragedy is clearly wrong and stinks of 'political incompetence, simple common sense says this was an accident as Israel were under attack from Egypt and her allies. The is no realistic scenario that Israel did this deliberately. It just doesn't make sense.
