For once Starmer is right. The truth is that we should nationalise energy and the other utilities... and I'm broadly a capitalist. If not we need to tax these excessive profits, the only people that benefit currently are shareholders and overpaid management.

Children on both sides of the house... never had real jobs most of them, straight from school to university to political staffers to parliament. It's all a game to them.

@killa8507 if staff in the nationalised industries are paid on a performance basis it can work. The issue here is companies and shareholders strive for profit and dividends. An employee working for performance and efficiancy in a nationalised industry has the same effect but the outcome is the opposite.. saving money/resource without simply putting those savings into the pockets of the rich. The NHS unfortunately has become too bloated with middle management. Leagues mean nothing to them as no one is accountable. Tax loopholes I agree. I also think the financial market needs huge overhaul.
