  1. I suspect most people in GB don't really care about NI is closer to the truth. The majority wanted out of the EU superstate and their constant power grab. If the EU had just remained a trading agreement perhaps it would have worked but more and more people across Europe are becoming fed up of it. Ireland as a major net beneficiary of course have a different view but that too will come home to roost if and when further nations join.

  3. Seems to me the problem should be with Ireland in particular and the EU rather than the UK? GB and NI trade should continue as normal.... if the EU want to impose checks on goods flowing into/out of UK then it is up to them to organise custom entry/exit points. They don't have to be on the border itself and both sides could easily remove the 180 visitor limit for Irish and NI citizens. The amount of trade flowing into GB from Ireland via NI is small compared to EU/UK goods going via tunnel/channel. How would that impinge on Good Friday Agreement enough to cause violence to flare up again?
