Cases increase. But hospitalisations are not. Get a grip!!

@MMSSLL getting vaccinated doesn’t stop the spread. 89% of over 16s have one jab and 80% have two but cases are rising. So being vaccinated doesn’t stop the spread. Delays are due to staff needlessly isolating after being pinged. 70% of hospital admissions are from double jabbed. Hospital occupancy overall is lower than pre pandemic. This isn’t about bed space. I’m sorry for your mum but wake up and check some facts.

@Mark Nealon hi I did reply but the comment has been removed even though I didn't put in a direct link. However search PHE tech briefing no 22... one thing though looking at totals on table 5, I think the 70% deaths not admissions... probably even more scary. I'll track back through the various emails/blogs etc. I get sent and see if I can find more.

@georgefield1665 good job they aren't then George. Seriously they aren't. According to PHE data (Covid daily admission excel file) I've just downloaded on 9th Sep there were 6,254 Covid-19 patients in hospital in England. There are approximately 135,000 hospital beds in England.
