Scare, scare, scare... get out and live your lives.

Even Sky are saying how misleading all the figures are. And a liar because the data wasn't from "today"....
77
About time all pubs and clubs started just staying open regardless.

"Failed presidency"? He must be counting number of bombs dropped... Obama won that one for sure.
38
"You're in breach of Covid" sounds like a real law!!
36
The pandemic, like racism, will end when you stop talking about it.
31
Stop trying to make a problem. It's irresponsible journalism like this that creates problems and panic buying be it due to Brexit or Covid.
25
@GordyB666 I agree with Lee Sauce. This has set back race relations for years and years. BLM have done more harm that KKK for race relations.
24
They need to do this next weekend too. The lockdown is a nonsense just delaying the inevitable. Ruining our children's future. Kids stand up for your rights now or it will be too late.
14
More infectious does not mean more dangerous. It just means we reach herd immunity quicker.
13
This is due to building on flood plains often miles from the actual flooding. Water up or down stream has nowhere to go so it bursts banks. Mixture of poor management and corrupt planners.
12
Once the first four groups have been done Boris there is absolutely no reason to keep any lockdown measures in place. You need to open up everything and remove the mask mandate. The risks are so so low for anyone else that it's criminal to consider keeping us hostage any longer. Mid February you said. 1. Residents in care homes for older adults and their carers 2. 80-year-olds and over and frontline health and social care workers 3. 75-year-olds and over 4. 70-year-olds and over and clinically extremely vulnerable individuals
12
Was my favourite place. No more... really is 1984 now.
12
Not everyone against the lockdown, or even this particular rushed vaccine, is an "anti vaxxer" - most are just ordinary folk that think the nanny state has gone too far.
11
They are so far in that they can't admit lockdown, masks, social distancing are all wrong. Mortality shows Covid, at worst, about 1.4 times more dangerous than flu in an average year and so far less deaths than in 2001 flu epidemic. Already it's migrated to mink and most likely other animals and back to humans so a vaccine will never work. In the meantime millions to Serco and public relation firms not to mention billions for furlough. In short, the governments around the world have f**ked up big time. People need to ignore this lockdown, take of your masks and carry on as normal. We do not consent.
11
"Chaos"? LOL I thought such all 'journalists' had a basic understanding of the English language and it's usage.
11
The only thing Boris has going for him is Sturgeon and Starmer... they are both incompetent, bitter fools.
9
This is still only guidance.. no statutory law has been passed. Link is here: "www.gov.uk/guidance/tier-4-stay-at-home"
8
Can I suggest the roadmap... "Ah we've taken a wrong turn... go back to February and carry on as normal"
8
Spot on!
7
As the MPs have been so fantastic I really think they should have their jabs first... then the very very important MSM. In fact, I'll forgo mine if that helps.
7
Acid Trip lol yep cos personal attacks really mean you have something to contribute.
7
Were to put the all the money is probably the biggest challenge!
5
I think most of them voted for him.... his ancestors too.

@boop9239 that's fine mate you take it if you want no one is stopping you. I'm not anti-vax but aged 57 and fit I prefer not to put anything into my body that isn't needed. Never take tablets. My immune system is fine...pretty sure I caught in back in January etc as felt rough for a few days after skiing in Italy. To use your analogy...my house is wired so I really don't need it all pulled out and re-wired just because a house in the next village has a problem with a plug in the kitchen.
4
Not a journalist she is one of WEF young global leaders oh and appearing a Joe Biden promotional video.... the plot thickens.
4
Anyone under about 25 hasn't known a world without Facebook.... trust me it was much better. Less polarised, far more tolerant, people spoke to each other and actually did stuff without recording every bloody second.
4
@Mrcookieproduction no one knows medium or long term effects that is why most vaccines take 7-10 years to market... it's not the development time it's the testing. If you are over 80 and it gives you some short term protection then great take it, but for anyone else when your immune system give 99%+ protection it's simply not necessary.
4
We decide who to see. There are many people over 80 who don't want to spend their last few years and especially Christmas' alone. This is not the decision of any government.
4
It's the company that should be held to account. A refund and apology is not enough - they knew exactly what they were doing. Cancel the contract and consider legal action. Just think how many other corrupt companies (and it happened under Labour too) get away with this.
4
@hayley2984 just wait... I hope not but fear they will. :(
3
It doesn't matter if infections rise - something can be very easily transmitted (infectious) but be harmless to most. The media continue to paint "infection" as meaning "death" and for almost everyone in the world it isn't. For most of us it is either asymptomatic or similar to a cold.
3
That is exactly what the government are doing with this lockdown... the deaths and social decline caused by the lockdown will far outweigh any damage Covid can do.
3
Special Branch. 1. For some older people they may only have a few left and surely it should be their decision if they are happy with the risk. 2. For most people with less than 0.05% chance of even getting seriously ill why should government tell us what to do 3. You cannot control a virus with lockdowns and restrictions... if we hadn't of had a lockdown in March this would most likely all be over by now. 4. The NHS should be there to protect us not the other way around. Occupancy is below normal winter levels 5. It's not just for Xmas 6. Those who want to isolate can.
3
To be fair China are leaving door open for legal and procedural challenges. Amazingly they are able to pick middle road better than most media channels or other world leaders.

What a knob!

@nikkihinton3398 Nikki that is what he's saying he points out 2020 is only to October. I agree 60k is not insignificant, especially if you've lost a loved one, but it is still only about 13%, less if you factor in population growth. Certainly not pandemic levels and also worth pointing out that 2019 was lower (by number and percentage of population) than the previous 5 years so there was a bit of natural balance due in 2020 even before Covid. The other thing to consider is some of the 'excess' deaths weren't Covid but were as a result of the lockdown.
2
@oliverranderson9292 they do both... loads of channels cancelled.
2
No risk to them youngsters. And it's responsibility of the elderly and vulnerable to isolate until they get vaccine. This lockdown is causing so much harm to the younger generations.... no jobs, babies can't see adults faces, school kids terrified probably for life, suicides. It's the older generation (which I'm in) who should be ashamed.
2
Where do they show them testing and torturing animals... all for the rush to profit! Millions of animals have been killed just for this one drug. 100 million plus animals a year used in testing. And we are supposed to be the superior beings!. It's sickening and morally indefensible.
2
I thought they were the same bloke....
2
Maggie would have known what to do.
2
Think you'll have some change... I'm looking for 40 foot yacht if you can help. Cheers! :)
2
@henrybatten3315 "To be honest her response was more likely to be stunned silence at your stupidity than anything to do with tracking devices." LOL that made me howl!
2
ULOIRAR a big percentage of what they breath in from wearing masks is CO2 hence already hospitalisations from mask wearing. Personally I suspect many of the long Covid sufferers are from prolonged mask wearing.
2
@iDarby I didn't mention anything about that? I have said to my 85+ parents to take it if they want... the main concern for most will be the fact that there hasn't been any long term tests - that in fact is why most medicines take 7-10 years to come to market. But at 85 years old and over long term effects aren't really an issue! But for most under 60s who are healthy the truth is your immune system will cope just fine and given that the Pfizer boss himself said they don't know if the vaccine prevents spread (they didn't even test that) then there is no reason to take it.

@garryyoung8945 Welcome mate
1
@mcfrosty8739 spot on mate.

@DMC888 not supported by the numbers. I agree it's more probably more infectious but the hospitals in UK work on over 85% in ICU at all times. Our local hospital in Bedford had 8 of 11 beds occupied in January pre-covid. So the 'huge influx' is actually only a handful of people at each hospital. They manage it just fine every other year. The issue is a third of NHS staff self isolating and so not available for work... needlessly self isolating... thus other wards are now empty because they can't staff them. Deaths for NHS staff was actually under the national average so this is all self inflicted.

I've had various people tell me the papers, BBC, Sky etc aren't biased and that I'm some mad right conspiracy theorist. But I just point them to headlines like this. Honestly this is so blatant in misrepresenting the truth I'm surprised youTube haven't flagged it. I've cancelled our newspaper subscription and suggest others do that same - hit them in the pocket.
