  9. Amazing how KIA has moved up in overall quality. I bought a 2019 Hyundai Sant Fe and luv the way it drives and the overall quality with a great interior.$26k for a SEL model with a bunch of safety features is a bargain.Drive a Kia or Hyundai SUV B-4 you bad mouth!

C G........The Outback is "N0T" a SUV or CUV it is a Wagon ! ........I do not like what Subaru has done with the front and rear bumper black cladding change, new headlight design looks somewhat better otherwise no body panel changes.I own a 2016 Prem. 2.5 and can easily achieve 35 mpg on hwy. between 55 and 60 mph.in the hilly twisty Ozarks...........not safe to drive faster.

  13. You are not a fan of the styling, that's your opinion we get it, keep it to yourself ! Outback is styled to the taste of there average buyer, mature people.What makes you such a styling expert ? The car is not flashy, but cleanly styled.Just speak about the features an mechanicals of the car. Just what is your choice for the best wagon or Suv for under $30k. Most people don't need all the BS $$$$ making extras that will cause problems as they age. I purchased a new 2016 Prem. model with one option pkg. for $26,500 not many other vehicles can match it, an keep high resale value like the Outback. As for the ivory interior, we luv it. Buy black or leather if you're concerned about dirt.  I always Scotch Gard seats in every car I have owned.  The 2.5 prob. has a 85 or 90% take rate, because it is just right for most people and gets great gas mileage to boot. Paddle shifters work fine for the CVT trans.

  17. Forget the H-lander hybrid, purchase the all new Hyundai 2010 Palisade for $32k baseOr the 2020 Telluride for $34k base. You can buy several thousands of gallons of gas with the money saved versus the Toyota !

  20. I'm so tired of hearing hard plastic versus soft touch, bet the majority of people do not fondle or ogle the soft touch surfaces.  Most drivers just touch the steering wheel, shift handle and radio knobs.  Soft armrests are a concern..........................................

  24. SUVs / CUVS ..Appeal to the older crowd...Easy in-easy out with leg room and cargo carrying ability. I myself own 2 and would never purchase another sedan for the above reasons.

  26. RE: Thin steering wheel, go to W-Mart and purchase a wheel cover. They have several to choose from for under $10.00 ...Wala, problem fixed, I do this and it works just fine.

  37. CX5 is due for a restyle, I purchased a all new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL 2.4  with FWD for $26k.  Luv the new body style and standard safety features. Another plus is the interior versus the CX5.

  44. Do not like the lower placement of the Directional lights. I have them on my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, there should be a minimum height law.

  47. Norm T.....I agree the glass they use is garbage, prob. made in China, I had to have mine.. 2016 model replaced out of pocket.The gasket problem was fixed with the 2015 model. As for looks and style I'll take the Tour EX over the Outback...plus lower looks better. Never going off road!!
