  1. actually the threat are themselves.....China produces millions of EVs but the west can't compete so they place 100% tax on top on import taxes on Chinese EVs.....EVs would be sold for under $20k, cheaper than new ICE cars but the US don't want China to be leader in EVs. Think about it...EVs are cheaper to build, less parts and yet being sold at higher prices than ICE cars. The US and EU automobile industry is making extra billions by not allowing China into the market.
