Any app or program that upload or download data online can be tracked. Facebook/Amazon/YouTube/Apple/Microsoft.......they all have access to your mic and camera. All US companies must comply with any government request for user data or risk massive fines. The 4G network....anything on the 4G network are in the domain of the US government as they have backdoor access. All this, anyone in cyber security can tell you this. Modern tech allows you to be tracked, your personal data isn't secure.
