Covaxin was rushed too fast and approved without the proper tests and trials. Of course the Modi government would announce that it is safe to use. However the number of cases related to health issues in India cannot be dismissed due to the abnormally high number of cases. If the government admits its error, imagine the amount of money the Modi government would have to pay out to the entire population of India in compensation. Even if the Modi government is ousted, any following government would deny any responsibilty as the country would be made bankrupted due to Modi's ego in fast tracking the vaccine.
