  1. The syphilis sero-prevalence among the pregnant women in India was reported as 0.38%, the annual burden of syphilis among pregnant women is about 1,03,960 and estimated cases of congenital syphilis are 16,324..........16323 in India compared to 3700 in the US. Even after taking into account that India has an higher population, the % is still higher for India. Why isn't India dealing with this ?
