Name one right other than the right to own people? The right for women to control their own bodies? The right to vote by mail?

He was literally a traitor??

@texasindependencenow7993 name just one right other than the right to own people? and have you by chance read Texas's Declaration of secession? It makes it quite clear why the war was fought.
1
Yes, but that was back before the party switch. An easy way to tell is to see which party is waving the Confederate (treason) flag currently
1
@user-cu6ij1ui4i can you explain the pardon for the entire Confederate Army for treason that's currently sitting in the Library of Congress for future generations to see?
1
@SaintThomasAquinas1 secession alone isn't treason, especially if you do it through Congress like you're supposed to. What is treason is if you take an army of domestic terrorists and "Levy war" against our government. A recent example would be the January 6th domestic terrorist attack. That being said, your opinion is irrelevant to the Constitution

@MyDyerMaker I never owned an oil well, but guess who ended up in Kuwait fighting for oil?
1
@MyDyerMaker what rights was he referring to other than the right to own people?
1
@MyDyerMaker and people who couldn't afford slaves rented them. But actually he didn't give a reason, he said States rights? What rights, other than the right to own other people?
1
@TexasIndependenceNow yes, the right to "self-govern" so they could own people
1
@TexasIndependenceNow well then I guess they shouldn't have joined a union. From the Texas declaration of secession: "She was received as a commonwealth holding, maintaining and protecting the institution known as negro slavery--the servitude of the African to the white race within her limits--a relation that had existed from the first settlement of her wilderness by the white race, and which her people intended should exist in all future time."

Sources?

Unless they sell something at Walmart that will stop a tank or an F-35, it's not going to go very well for the traitors again.
1
Huh???
1
@johnham8824 so you can't explain your own comment?
1
@johnham8824 4.9% GDP growth, 14 million more jobs in 3 years, and 15 months straight of declining inflation? "Hard times"? What planet do you live on?
1
No, he fought with the traitors
