  2. The a-10s tore through junk Soviet armor in desert storm.. I don't believe that necessarily means it's the best tool for the job though, I concur that it's probably better at close air support for infantry than it is as a tank killer. If I was a tanker I think I would be more terrified of the Apache then the A10.
