  1. Thats what happens when you ignore history and think you are smarter and more advanced than people from the past. The quote "Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it" explains our modern world very well. Modern architects thought they were smarter than the people from the past so what they did was completely ignore all the thousands of years of architectual knowledge and instead decided to completely reinvent it for absolutely no reason.
