OP only asked a simple question, never said a word about how fast/slow China can build stuff and didn't mention anything about a comparison between the two countries. But you just HAD to bring politics into this. I hope they pay you more than that because 50 cents really isn't that much for such hard, honest work. Hehe.

@michaeldengg Mate. No one said anything about whether US being capable of doing that or not. OP merely asked a simple question. But of course as someone who gets paid 50 cents per post, you probably see fit to bring up politics and whatnot whenever you can.

Why? Because nowadays flu almost only kills the weak. Most people who are killed by flu already have weakened immune system caused by other disease. If you're a healthy person you're highly unlikely to die from flu. There are vaccine and medications for flu. Whereas there's none for this virus yet. We're no strangers to flu, it has been among us since forever, whereas we have extremely limited knowledge of this new virus. Where exactly does it come from? How contagious is it? Can we cure it and how? Will it have any lasting side effects for those who survive? Will it mutate? Will there be a vaccine? Nobody can answer these questions. And it's human nature to fear the unknown. Btw flu also kills lots of people in China every year. Don't make it sound like it's only a problem in the US.
