  1. Thank you for the video. I'm not familiar with the technical details of climate sensitivity, but your possible description of the next twenty years is right in line with other predictions I've heard from other people. In all honesty I think we're going to do some last minute, possibly risky geoengineering to try and mitigate the worst effects. The most promising methods I've heard about are 1. "enhanced weathering" that will raise the alkalinity of the oceans, by way of dumping huge quantities of rock particles in the sea, and 2. cloud seeding on a huge scale, using fleets of airplanes. This could possibly be tested first by doing it in the winter over the poles. Still risky, but if it didn't work it wouldn't make the poles heat up faster. I really think both these things will be attempted, along with other geoengineering methods, when it becomes obvious that we're heading into the worst case scenario. It doesn't require global agreement. Some of the nations close to the equator may attempt to geoengineer the climate without getting the agreement of the rest, or the scientific community. For them it will be a simple matter of national security.
