  1. Not going to lie, I rewound parts of this video and watched them multiple times to try and follow the arguments, and even then I'm kind of shaky on some of it. But that's what makes the video wonderful! So much of YouTube is lowest common denominator clickbait it's wonderful to find a channel that really stretches your brain. And you were going easy on us by not showing the intervening derivatives of the field equation there! I think the editor went with the Ideal Gas analogy because the letter writer talked about how vacuum energy was virtual particles popping in and out of existence. Maybe it got the editor thinking about virtual particles as a kind of cosmic gas. Thank you for explaining why this isn't the case.
