  1. I don't know. It's odd that science is becoming less disruptive, when there are giant cosmological anomalies and the like hanging around. Maybe we're just becoming more settled within the current borders of the known, because expanding those borders has become so expensive and difficult. It seems like the development of AI should spur some revolutionary new science soon.
