  2. This video really highlights your skill with larger dogs. I'd be afraid to go into a shower cubicle with a dog so clearly stressed out, but you did it with no problem. No doubt having a German Shepard of your own helps you understand them better than other people. I'm really impressed with your gentle but firm attitude towards animals, which is really clear in this video. You empathize with their needs, but you're the one in charge and they need to listen. I'd have trouble being so firm with them, especially bigger animals like Dangerous.

  4. I think that's at least partially because she wasn't afraid of him. With a lot of dogs they act aggressive because they're scared, which makes people scared of them, which makes them more aggressive, and so on in an endless cycle. She understood that he was scared and not angry, so the cycle never got started.

  12. He definitely looks cuter with the short ears. It's unfortunate that he had a bad experience in the past with someone clipping his nails. A human can talk about trauma and get past it, but dogs have no way to process such things.
