"...Its prestige and superiority is based on the international market, which is currently being competed by many firms...." But hasn't this always been true? Speaking as a foreigner, it looks like Samsung has done a pretty good job competing over the years. The biggest problem that large, centrally controlled organizations face is when leaders have no one to stop them from making bad decisions - but it seems like Samsung has mostly avoided this, perhaps because it needs to compete against so many foreign firms.
