  1. Thank you for another great video! It doesn't sound like he'll get the chance to carry out his most drastic ideas, but I hope the election of Javier Milei serves as an inflection point anyway. Maybe this is the start of Argentina's journey back into the world economic system.

  2. There's certainly a lot of changes that need to be made, hopefully at a steady but gradual pace. If I'm understanding the video correctly, the Argentinian Peso is currently pegged to the USD as a way to control inflation by forcing the government to have greater discipline and not print as much money. Unfortunately this hasn't worked. Switching their currency to the US dollar seems a little out of reach right now, but like Patrick said in the video a currency board might be a workable middle ground solution. That would put monetary policy in the hands of a group that's unconnected with the government. Sort of a black box.
