Thanks for this video! It's a great summary of the crazy things going on in China and their implications for the rest of the world. My investments are in the toilet right now, but at least I'm not living on expired cans of beans like people in Shanghai. The more I hear about the lockdowns going on in China the more crazy it sounds. But like you said, they really are forced to go down this path with millions of vulnerable people at risk. The best thing would be to just order a bunch of foreign MRNA vaccines and start getting people vaccinated, but apparently "national pride" won't allow for that. So here we are, looking at a big one two punch to globalization and the possible fracturing of the world into economic blocks that look rather like the 20th century. Will "reshoring" become an actual trend, or will it fade away with Covid? Time will tell.
