It looks so nice and green there, and you even have some flowers blooming. In my part of the world the snow and ice is only about three-quarters melted and everything is different shades of brown. This video taught me some things. I had no idea there even was an aircraft leasing industry, or that it was mostly based in Ireland. They're definitely going to take a hit when Russia basically steals the planes. It seems like the Russians are assuming the sanctions are permanent and things will never get back to normal. At least this is the kind of thing one might only resort to as a last resort when they think they'll never have to face the consequences. If the war ends soon and sanctions are lifted, no one is going to lease planes to Russia again. The risk would be too much.
