  1. I think Trump is mentally incapable of learning because he's gone so long without needing to change his mind about anything, he's negatively conditioned himself to avoid novelty of any kind. We don't normally see people like this because the real world forces everyone to change now and then, but Trump has always been insulated by money from the consequences of his actions, so he's grown this unique hothouse flower of a mental condition.
