Wow, Rush Limbaugh... Is seriously using a bunch of cannibals as an example to look up to? Not the farmers from the 30's, or the Continental Army at Valley Forge, or the kids in the Civil Rights protests of the 60's who were attacked with fire hoses and police dogs, or any of the other innumerable examples of Americans triumphing through and despite adversity. No, his example of American grit is the Donner Party. That... says so much about him and this moment in time. Of all the Republican talking heads, I thought Rush Limbaugh would've been the one most likely to rethink his life choices and give serious thought to the impact he's had on the world. But nope... he wants his listeners to follow the example of the Donner Party.
