  1. Admitting the Republican Party has no future without Donald Trump is an extraordinary statement for Lindsey Graham to make. In an ordinary world this would be interpreted as a stinging criticism of the party, since the Republicans are supposed to represent the interests of millions of Americans and not just one man - but this isn't an ordinary world. In this world Republicans can say anything at all and no one questions them, so long as they signify support for their side. Ted Cruz publicly admitted that he took donations from corporations for corrupt reasons, and no one cares. As far as her party is concerned, Liz Cheney's one error was public criticism of the team.
