Thanks for the video! I'd be okay with mycelium insulation in my home, if it was as fire resistant as the regular old plexiglass that's in there now. Like you said, the mycelium is dead, so it's not going to send spores down through the trap door from your attic. And besides that, there are already fungus spores in every house. With the dry conditions inside a home they get no chance to grow, but they're always present. Anyway, it sounds like the greatest potential for mycelium based "plastic" is in replacing Styrofoam. That's an important and beneficial achievement all by itself if it can be done.
