  1. That's fascinating! Thanks for this video on a little known launch vehicle. It's handicapped by the retrograde orbit, but if the Shavit is just launching spy satellites they probably don't need a larger payload capacity anyway. There's probably a parallel history of fantastic feats of miniaturization somewhere inside the Israeli defense industry, as they fit more and more hardware into the same limited payload size.
