  1. Thank you for another great video! "...Balance the cost of development against the expected return on investment." Yes, but a lot of companies (probably most of them) would prefer to continue developing an existing system to make it more cost effective, instead of going all-in on a completely new launch system when the old one is just beginning to turn a profit. Most companies would probably try to make that second stage reusable and make the Falcon 9 cheaper to operate, so they could continue operating it for many years to come. It's extremely unusual for SpaceX to put so much development time and money into into the new, unproven, still very experimental Starship they way they have.
