  2. +Dac Tucker 0.7%, 7%, 77% is not the point. The point is where do you draw the line for the 'universal "Basic Concept' where people want what is best for their family and friends'. There are billions of poor people living in 2nd and 3rd world countries who want what is best for their family and friends. Where do you draw the line for "undocumented" citizens? How many, from which countries, or from all countries or are you going to discriminate against selected nations? What jobs should "undocumented" citizens be allowed to have? Surely they require equality like all citizens? And representation in all areas of the nation. As these people are disadvantaged they will need assistance in language, education, health care, housing, interview skills, skills development, developing small business etc. I hope you do not want to discriminate against these people according to their needs. I certainly trust you would not discriminate against their extended family and friends and acquaintances accessing these universal needs. Then we can move on to the question again: Where do you draw the line for illegal "undocumented" citizens? Where do you draw the line for any illegal activity? If 0.7% is okay with you does that include all illegal activity? And why is your selected percentage supposed to be acceptable for everyone else?

So if we let all the people in the world who want to come to the US come, will the US still be the US? If we take down all borders and say 'welcome everyone, we don't mind if just roll on up and be an undocumented citizen. There are plenty of US documented citizens paying taxes for roads and schools and rubbish collection and libraries, and hospitals and town planning, and wefare services for those in need, and public health services to make sure we don't have rabies and bubonic plague. Those tax payers are more than happy to pay even more taxes for all of you! For everyone. US taxpayers are just so happy to sacrifice themselves and their children to undocumented citizens. They will not mind if they can't get in for surgery, or if they must now wait days on the floor in the emergency room as there are now not enough beds or doctors or nursing staff. Thats okay . Just come on over and take what you need. US documented citizens will pay. Housing shortage? thats fine , move on in! Three to sinlge bed and six on the floor. The documented tax paying US citizens can move into the back yard with the rest of the overflow.' Back to the big question: Where do you draw the line? And by the way, how many illegal migrants are you sharing your home and other resources with?

  6. +Dac Tucker I see your exploration of honest dialogue reveals your true self. People want to go to the US for opportunity and the freedoms endowed by the Constitution. And just by way, the benefits of the US did not just appear randomly out of the blue so that citizens of yesteryear and today are just 'lucky'. The US is the US because US citizens fought for it and many died for it and many others sacrificed much for it. It has been built with blood, sweat, tears, grit, intellect and determination. It has been nurtured and nursed and guided and corrected. It is something US citizens own. Freedom is not free. And BTW I am not a US citizen and do not live in the US.
