  21.  @zolarnareshmoray  Islam does not require a conversion, it just requires reciting the Shahada with witnesses. There is a verse somewhere in the Quran that states that it doesn't matter what you think, feel or even what you believe. But once you recite the Shahada, there's no getting out - you're locked in - apostacy is punishable by death. Christianity is when a person makes a decision following a revelation, a new understanding about God. It is decision made by the person about that new understanding, it is a decision based on a new belief. Although Romans 10:9 says 'if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus & believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved' there is no specific statement to make under any specific circumstances. Generally new Christians feel euphoric for several years, some for life, after they 'receive Christ - like they are 'in love'. Christians can choose to leave Christianity if they choose. While some Christians may go through difficult times of testing & even 'fall away' for a period of time, they go back to Christianity, because once they have met Jesus, they can't really unmeet him. There are people who call themselves Christian who have never met or received Christ. They have not had a revelation, they just think they are good people - as if, mere humans could possibly be good enough for a holy God! Of course we can't! 'For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.…' Ephesians 2:8-9
