  1. An important caveat to keep in mind. Xi Jinping had been using the so-called anti-corruption probe to purge his political enemies. Those purges have created a lot of resentment in the CCP apparatus. More resentments have resulted in more enemies. More enemies then more purges... It is a never ending process!
