  1. Since the 2008 financial crisis, the Federal Reserve has been too accommodating for the stock market investors. A stock market drop of 20% would trigger a drop in interest rates and a new wave of QE. This resulted in a wave of speculation and a huge stock market bubble. The stock market investors are mainly the wealthy people who are in the top 20%. The Federal Reserve largesses benefited mainly the wealthy top 20%. It is about time that the Federal Reserve did something for the 80% majority. The high inflation is hurting the 80% majority.
