  1. The rural towns and villages will be hard hit by the COVID waves because of inadequate medical facilities. In China 24% of the population (312 million) work in agriculture. The farm workers are mainly women and seniors. February and March are the planting season. How many farmers will be healthy enough to plant the 2023 crops? In order to cope with insufficient agricultural production, China will have to increase the importation agricultural products from Australia and New Zealand!
