  1. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Banks and brokers make money when you buy and sell stocks; they really do not care if you make capital gain or capital lost. The low interest rates and quantitative easing resulted in a huge stock market bubble. The stock market bubble is about to burst. The current S&P500 P/E Ratio is 29.3. This is 46% above the modern-era market average of 19.6. The Buffet Indicator Market Cap to GDP ratio is very high 157%. When the indicator is above 100% it is not a good time to buy because the market is overvalued.
