  1. The Canadian economy is much more resilient than the United States economy. The unemployment is low because there is a shortage of manpower. Electricity and gas prices are low. The Canadian government and several provincial governments have announced budget surplus for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Do you remember the last time the United States federal government and any state government had a budget surplus?
