A family-owned auto parts store? Wow! I don't remember the last time I saw one. Good luck!

Hazet is German, they do not screw around, and they are priced accordingly.

Why I love my Knipex: The comfort grips fit my hands well. The pivot is very smooth. I use mine all the time. For heavy duty stuff? Naw. These are "radio pliers" with long tips. They make over 800 kinds of pliers and if you want something with shorter, broader tips that will be tougher for twisting, I'm sure they have one. The only thing I've ever cut with needlenose pliers would be simple 12V electrical wire. Bigger wires and coathanger wire, I'm reaching for diagonal cutters or lineman's pliers, bigger stuff, I'm reaching for Knipex Cobolts. Snap On Talon Grips are some very sturdy needle noses, too.

P21S is very good considering that it's laughably easy - pour a small amount into the windshield washer reservoir and squirt the washers once in a blue moon.

Word on the street (well, Garage Journal) is that the Snap Ons are outstanding.

For a future test, please consider something by Origin USA up in Maine (and now, a denim facility in NC.) 100% US made, starting with the cotton.

I only just started using it last year, but a lot of people are happy with Griot's Garage Black Shine Trim Restorer.

@ProjectFarm Oh, and thanks for all of your hard work!

Knipex Raptors are like those Vise Grips, but without the locking feature.

I have many ratchets, and my collection includes that Harbor Freight Pittsburgh Pro. Many things in its favor: - good if you work in cold conditions - it's not just plastic, there's a steel core inside there - if you have big hands, that big handle feels a lot better - Super low back drag is a wonderful thing - I also prefer a release button and a change of direction lever, but that's just me Downside: - the gray and black color scheme can make it hard to find when you drop it in an engine bay. But there are other brands (Genius? Tekton? ) selling this same ratchet in more visible colors. For the price, it's a hoot! In my experience, my Snap On Dual 80's have fairly light back drag. Maybe it's what I've lubed them with. (Don't ask me! I forget! Probably Permatex assembly lube, but maybe ATF or synthetic grease.)

I think the DeWalts can make you productive, since they hop back into the box.

I put some Moog ball joints and tie rods on an old Durango more than 100,000 miles ago, and I use Red Line grease in them. Still zero play in any of them. Curious to see some Schaeffer grease tested! (They have several kinds.)
