I’m a big fan of the First Amendment Audit channels, but this is different. The man was on private property and someone called the police about a suspicious person. There was in the officers minds reasonably articulate suspicion of a crime so the Pastor was legally obligated to identify himself. Now once the neighbor came over and told them that they were friends they should of cut him loose. Or they could of even called the neighbor to ask him if the Pastor had his consent to be on his property. The Police might have been a little lazy here, but what they did is not against the Law or their departments policy.

But it as cut and dry as I wrote and it will be proven to you when no action is taking against these Officers and the Pastor loses his case in court. Now having said that I’m sure the Town or City will just give away free money and offer a settlement with the Pastor. And so the Snowflakes will rejoice….smh The City or Town should absolutely not settle. You can hear the Officers pleading with the him that they do have reasonable articulated suspicion and ID if. and that they were called by another one of the “neighbors”. He chose not to, he chose. The Officers could of just tried calling the neighbor or the Pastor could of offered to do so and this whole thing would of just went away.
