  2. I do think that if you're the author of A Politics of Love, you're not going to say "he's morally, intellectually, spiritually, and physically flaccid" even though he visibly is. I think Marianne's position is that people can see for themselves. That said I wish she would criticize the crime bill, and the continuation of the ICE facilities. After all, children are her rallying point issue.

  4. The thing is, the third party movement behind Dr. West was looking at the green party as just that, a third party. They would have taken anything with ballot access, that didn't actively thwart the vote, but what irked me slightly, was that there was no considering of the principles on which the Green Party was founded. Dr. West strikes me as a labour activist who is for the working masses, not specifically, or particularly a GREEN activist, although I'm sure he's not against it. I can see that Williamson represents the dems as they were meant to be, and Stein is fully green in her soul. If the People's party had been more viable, and less problematic, it would have been perfect for Dr. West.

  8. Yeah, I think her stance is more about waging peace. I get that sometimes war is sometimes propagated under the umbrella of waging peace, but I think that Marianne gets that you can't just be anti something, you also have to be pro something else probably to a greater extent as well.

  17. Also bear in mind, MSNBC, CNN and Fox are all part of the entertainment industry, not news. Ever notice how every election plays out like a Hollywood movie? No sorry, a pro wrestling match? There's always a not so surprising plot twist. The polls are not really the polls. Those are scripted. This time round, they're not even pretending, talking about undeclared candidates more than real live declared candidates with real live platforms.

YT: "We're reading your enthusiasm at a ten, and we'd like you at a four." Cenk had argued that there's nothing in the bylaws to say that those delegates default to the incumbent, and that therefore any challenger could claim them. I do get your point though.
