  12. I would venture to say, that Marianne helped to build up Bernie's name recognition in 2016. He didn't have much then, and she harnessed the power of Sister Giant to help to launch his campaign.

  21. Electability is a thing. But it's a very arcane concept which is impossible to guage in advance. I think it's safe to say Joe doesn't have it. His strongest argument is "I have a black friend". Regarding his former role of VP as somehow making him more electable, is not democratic notion, it's aristocratic.

  29. My litmus test for progressives in the primary last round was the corporate PAC money. Warren said she'd accept PAC money in the general which just seemed a half measure to me. I kinda lost interest after that, although I did check out her website. My personal feeling is that it's long past time for America to have a female leader. The US is behind India and Pakistan in this regard. I also feel that Bernie is more matriarchal than Warren. I supported Marianne because she seemed to have the whole package, or close it it, from what I could look up online. I also think charisma, as well as practical policy making, is important, and where Warren had to buy thunders sticks for her audiences, Marianne had all white audiences surging to their feet, in New Hampshire for reparations.
