If we're happy with the system as it stands, then it makes sense to go through the traditional channels, but the election of trump, and him being sworn in without revealing his tax records showed that some of the checks and balances are dysfunctional.

She started Project Angle Food to help AIDS patients, specifically to get homebound patients food, but also massage and things to provide comfort, at a time when a lot of the public were scared to even touch them. She co-founded The Peace Alliance, and helped a lot with Sister Giant. For the past two years, since her previous presidential run, she's been talking to down ballot progressives on her podcast, to get their messages to a wider audience. I learned a lot about state legislature, listening to those interviews.
