@danielx555 I'm proposing here, that she has executive experience as a businesswoman,. You might be referring to corporate executive experience, but I'm not sure that's so beneficial on the left. One quality I'd like to see in a leader, is some experience working personally with the common man. The reason Marianne is seeking political office, is that in her career as a councilor, she kept encountering suffering that was a result of bad public policy. One complaint I often hear about people in Washington, is that they're "out of touch:. I don't personally know the cause, but I've heard it said, and deem it possible, that the people in Washington have formed a kind of symptomatic empathy with the big money interests they encounter every day.

I've noticed a lot of people, from the spiritual community, me included, who now know about Bernie Sanders, Reparations, Gun Laws, the defense budget, the way bills are drafted and passed, the war in Yemen, etcetera etcetera, just because of her, and the way she speaks, which is not in that snoozy, snarky, perfunctory political buzzword language.
