Gary your whole theory about people buying assets being the driving factor for there increase in price is floored, the same products can be purchased for the same weight in gold as they were two hundred years ago, this is why people do not consider gold an investment and refer to it as a hedge. The issue is not people buying assets the issue is to much un backed money is being printed, until you solve that issue nothing will ever change and taxing the wealthy out of the picture will only serve to increase the need for printing more fiat.
