  1. I grew up in Manchester, it was my stomping grounds in the 90's. Things having changed so much, prior to the IRA bombing the corn exchange was all independent shops, basically a flee market, the Andale centre had an underground market in it, it was great. Loads of 2nd hand shop all over Manchester, it used to be great, so many record shops also, we are talking upwards of 15 independent record shops within 5 minutes walk from each other.
