  1. Yeah thats right, truth is the real G Wagen is forbidden fruit for 99 percent of the world and the G63 is only designed to be driven on pavement. The W460 and W461 are the ones made for Nato and the Army, basically the the same G without the bling and with a proper ground clearance. It has almost no luxury and tons of torque in low gears via a diesel V6 /no AGM here/ plus plug hole in the floor for drainage, no carpets or electric windows and defiantly no infotainment. Known as the "G-class 300 CDI Professional W461" they are only currently available in Australia and South Africa and still no one buys them as they are stupidly overpriced. Plus they look a million times better than the G63 and the rest of the bling versions that look dated next week. 40 years down the line a W461 will still look the business. Out of six G's, five of which were the G63's types experienced shock absorber damage and breaking down during a demonstration drive along Western Australia’s notorious 2000km Canning Stock Route. Only one made it past half way and that was a W461 pro.

  2. The Wrangler is such an old design it would be hard to compete with modern cars for safety. Modern cars are designed with better crumple zones in mind for when a crash occurs and in order for the wrangler to compete with this it would need a total over haul of design in much the same way the old defender has had compared to the new one. This would of cause impact the one of the main reason's people love the wrangler, it's timeless look. If you look at older cars going back over the decades they are often viewed as have a more please to the eye appeal compare to modern cars but modern cars are making the design with safety in mind and this dictates a lot of the look.
