Not about a house tax but with regards to Capital Gains Tax please note that if they increase it, and bring it in line with income tax, they will not make any more money and in fact make significantly less money by 2027 as the Inland Revenue have pointed out. As bad as this government is there not stupid so if they do in crease CGT in that manner we should all be questioning what there agenda is ? I think there will be putting a nail in the coffin of all small businesses, notice how there not changing corporation tax. (fascistic economics) CGT is a voluntary tax meaning you just don't liquidate it to avoid paying it, those with large investments will simply leave the UK. The small business man who worked all his life on a small wage only to sell his business and retire will be put on the scrap heap, I would expect the high street to be even more dead than it is now.
