  2.  @wuzzyyy_  tbh this sohpia chick is just a chatbot and no different to the ones you find on Internet, they have what's called a decision tree for answers. Basically she is not artificial intelligence and the company are just creating hype around her by giving prescripted questions to the media. The fact that he was asked an unscripted question will have thrown him. Shopia has been criticised by all and sundry within the artificial intelligence field. The code for her is open source and it shows she nothing more than a chatbot. YANN LeCun, Facebook director of artificial intelligence called her "compete bullshit". Robots have replaced most jobs in manufacturing only to increase unemployment and can you imagine being stonewalled by something like sohpia the robot when complaing to customer services?

  3.    you gotta be kidding me right? It's not criminal to avoid critical questions or rige them to over hype a situation. Remmber no one is selling you a product only a concept. There not asking you for your money only your belief. Not criminal, just immoral. This is just how our society works and pretty much the same tactics used by politicians everyday.

  4.    the company that created her is Hanson robotics, David Hanson,. He was a former imagineer for Disney and was responsible for creating robotic sculptures for the company's theme parks. Its not what you would call a group of cutting edge AI scientists. Theme parks exist to indulge the imagination into a false sense of reality. That's all that's happening here.

  5.    David Hanson look him up on wiki. To quote "creates human-looking robots who have realistic facial expressions" You see its not AI in the slightest. Hannsons PHD is in film/animation/video. Not a scientist. The idea that she's real learning AI is just for P. R, call like it is, a publicity stunt. People want to belive so they go along.
